1690's - Appointed Governor of Tranquebar instead of [[Pouch, Christian]]. Vogdt had been in the service of the DOC for many years. (VGT 5, p. 199)

1694 - Appointed Governor of Tranquebar ([https://www.foreningen-trankebar.dk/45933983 Foreningen Trankebar])

1698 - engaged in a conflict with the Nayak of Thanjavur. This later led to him being replaced as governor by [[Bjørn, Jørgen]], but as Vogdt died before Bjørn arrived to Tranquebar, [[Andræ, Andreas]] was chosen instead. (VGT 5, p. 199)
