1755 - Employed by the Asiatic Company as assistent. Sailed to Trankebar, arrived on August 5th (Larsen Ostindiske Personalia)

1756 - Made overassistent on the Nicobar Islands, to where he sailed on the ship Kiøbenhavn at the end of August on the expedition alongside Volquards, Tycho (Larsen Ostindiske Personalia)

1756 - Following the death of Volquards, Tycho in December, Lund was made opperhoved of "Nye-Danmark" (the Nicobar Islands) (Larsen Ostindiske Personalia). 1760 - Arrived at Trankebar, where he applied to the guvernement about a position and funds to pay off his debts. He was employed as overassistent and recieved the salary he had ourstanding (Larsen Ostindiske Personalia)
