1669-5-31 - Arrived in Tranquebar on the DOC frigate FÆRØE as Underkøbmand. Employed as that in the colony and later became Overkøbmand. (Kay Larsen: Guvernører etc, p. 117)

1690's - Appointed Governor of Tranquebar instead of Pouch, Christian. Vogdt had been in the service of the DOC for many years. (VGT 5, p. 199)

1694 - Appointed Governor of Tranquebar (Foreningen Trankebar)

1698 - engaged in a conflict with the Nayak of Thanjavur. This later led to him being replaced as governor by Bjørn, Jørgen, but as Vogdt died before Bjørn arrived to Tranquebar, Andræ, Andreas was chosen instead. (VGT 5, p. 199)
