Could this be related to another merchant house, i.e. House of Thomsen & Clüver, who in 1772 are detailed to have been textile merchants in Copenhagen? (Holberg, Peder Paars, 1772)

1803 - The young Bech, Marcus Christian delivered Vexler to this company in Copenhagen on behalf of his father's firm, House of Jørgen Bech & Co. (Bech: En Kjøbenhavnsk Grosserers, 1910:58)
