1753 - Sailed on board the ship SYDERMANLAND to Trankebar (Larsen Ostindiske Personalia)

1754 - Hired as skipper on board the newly acquired "inland" ship KONGEN AF DANMARK (Larsen Ostindiske Personalia)

1755 - As captain, he sailed the ship KONGEN AF DANMARK on the first Danish expedition to colonise the Nicobar Islands (Møller 1797)

1756 - Helped draw up the map of the Nicobar Islands as shown on this page (Kongernes Samling)

1757 - Transferred to the ship Kiøbenhavn, where he was patriated back to Denmark, returned in 1758 (Larsen Ostindiske Personalia). In the National Archives, there should be a Skibsjournal for Ostindiefarere, number 781, which should be a journal written by Diderich Bagge on his journey on the ship Kiøbenhavn from 1755-1758 (Asiatiske, vestindiske og guineiske handelskompagnier, Vejledende arkivregistraturer, Bro-Jørgensen & Rasch, 1969, 65)

1759 - Engaged as captain on board a ship bound for St. Croix (Larsen Ostindiske Personalia)

In 1787, Diderich Bagge and his family as well as one female servant aged 21 lived in Amagertorv 54, probably around what is today Amagertorv 17 (Folketælling Kbh 1787)
