The slave was baptised into the Calvinist faith in the Reformist Church chapel of Copenhagen and renamed Reinhard (the same name as his promenent godfather Iselin). 1786 - May - Shot himself dead in Paris in the Tuileries Garden. Accordning to Danish newspapers, he had stayed for some time in Paris, where he, alledgedly, "had lost everything in the lottery".
