1753 - Travelled to Trankebar on the ship Sydermandland, on which the master surgeon, overmester Snicken died, upon which Silchmüller was appointed overmester (Larsen Ostindisk Personalia)

1754 - Deployed as overmester (surgeon) on the ship Kongen af Danmark (Larsen Ostindisk Personalia)

1755 - Ordered to go on the Danish mission to colonise the Nicobar Islands, on the mission by overseen Tanck, Jørgen Bartholomæus (Larsen Ostindisk Personalia)

1756 - In January, ordered to stay on the Nicobar Islands, much against his will, according to Larsen (Larsen Ostindisk Personalia)

1756 - September, moved with all the other colonists to Nancowry, "Ny-Sjælland" (Larsen Ostindisk Personalia)

1757/8 - Approximate years. Travelled back to Denmark, remained as overmester in the service of the Asiatic Company (Larsen Ostindisk Personalia)
